The engineers consult (wide angle photo - click to enlarge angle)

The work continues, still in destruction stage but work progresses…

emptying the trash

   cleaning house

laying some new cables and pipes up the stairwell

making a hole for a fridge and pantry

opening the roof for a new skylight in the dressing room

new windows to laundry and second bathroom

new plumbing (and holes in the neighbours ceiling)

the passageway, nice huh ?

master bedroom, even nicer !

and the living room, today. A way to go yet to make it habitable again.

A redevelopment project

Location : San Telmo, Buenos Aires

This 130 square metre house was built in 1926, and in true San Telmo “casa chorizo” style is narrow (just 8 metres wide) but long (over 23 metres deep) and has traditional 4.6 metre high ceilings. Before renovation feel for the light and the mood of the house, the owner painted everything white, including the floors.
